Our story
A club, not a chain.
Welcome to WRS Athletic Club. We are a privately, locally owned adult health club. WRS is going into its 30th year of business. We work to create a consistently friendly, clean, and safe atmosphere for adults to utilize. Please feel free to come by the club for a tour.
We opened in 1995 and never sold. There's no corporate playbook here and no franchise fee baked into your dues — just a well-maintained building on Franklin Avenue, a staff that has largely stayed put for two decades, and members who have been coming since the beginning.
Between the pool, the sauna and steam room, two weight floors, the cardio deck, the studio and the bikes, there's enough here to train seriously and enough quiet to recover properly afterward.
